Zimbabwe has 11 national parks, set out in the Parks and Wild Life Act and managed by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks). This atlas starts with Victoria Falls, a World Heritage site Zimbabwe shares with Zambia: the rainforest trail on the Zimbabwean side, and Livingstone Island with Devil's Pool on the Zambian side.
ZimParks charges different daily fees for locals, visitors from SADC countries and international visitors. At Victoria Falls each side of the border has its own ticket office, and the KAZA Univisa covers both Zimbabwe and Zambia. The guide links every figure to ZimParks, UNESCO, the immigration departments or the island operator.
